Another year, another season of “The Bachelor.”
Ahead of the Season 27 premiere of ABC’s long-running dating show, the network has released all 30 women who will be contestants in the upcoming season with leading man Zach Shallcross.
Shallcross — who was first introduced to Bachelor Nation on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette,” starring Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia — will now star in his own journey to find love, after being dumped by Recchia on national TV.
The women competing for Shallcross’ heart range in age from 23 to 30 years old and come from all over the United States, with one contestant even hailing from Vienna, Austria. The women include a therapist, a financial advisor, a nonprofit owner, a nanny, a stylist, a content creator, a makeup artist, five nurses, a dancer and even a rodeo racer.
Viewers already met a handful of Shallcross’ ladies when some of the women competing on his season surprised him during the live “The Bachelorette” finale last year. In a franchise first, viewers voted on “America’s First Impression Rose” via Twitter — and the honor went to Brianna, who charmed voters by taking a polaroid during their introduction. She will now be safe from elimination during the first week.
Shallcross is a 26-year-old tech executive from Anaheim Hills, Calif. His bio on ABC’s website describes him as an “old-fashioned romantic” who has “a huge heart that he is so ready to share forever with the right woman.” The California native splits time between Texas and Orange County, and is said to be a “family man” whose parents have been married over 30 years.
Jesse Palmer returns as host for the upcoming season of “The Bachelor.”
“The Bachelor” Season 27 premieres on Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
