Arica AngeloA Texas native will host a brand new dating show on Bravo TV called Love Without Borders, which premieres on Wednesday, November 30. Relationship expert Arica Angelo, who’s from Galveston, will help guide five singletons who flew to a mystery destination to find their potential life partner.
The series follows Aaron Motacek, Danna Richards, Philip Michael Thomas Jr., Naeem Thompson (who’s from Houston), and Gurleen Virk, who put everything on pause and uproot their lives in search of true love. Once they arrive at the unknown location, they will be matched up by Angelo. The cast doesn’t know who they are paired up with and will have to live with the match Angelo picked.
In an interview with Galveston Daily News, Angelo said she spoke to the singles about what they wanted and what was not working for them in their previous relationships. Angelo began her career as a dating coach back in 2008 posting videos on YouTube. She offers courses through her website, ranging from how to get a date to setting boundaries and being an emotional warrior.
“We have a network of matchmakers in other countries and we decide which people would be good matches based on what they want and their personalities,” Angelo said about the new Bravo TV show. “We told the singles that they need to be packed and ready to go, but they did not know where they were going until they arrived at the airport.”
Love Without Borders is produced by Kinetic Content, the same team behind Netflix hit Love Is Blind, with Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Scott Teti, Brent Gauches, Sarah Dillistone, and Kenda Greenwood Moran serving as executive producers.
The series will kick off with two episodes being shown, but after the premiere, there will be one episode a week.
