Gemma Owen from Love Island and rapper Bugzy Malone have responded to romance rumours, after news broke that the pair were a thing.
Earlier this week, you might’ve seen a report from The Sun which claimed the 19-year-old reality TV star was dating Bugzy – real name Aaron Davies – following her split from Luca Bish. “Gemma and Aaron, 32, have enjoyed a few dates over the past few weeks,” the source claimed.
“They have told their closest friends they are dating and seem really happy together. Gemma and Aaron are keeping their relationship out of the public eye for now because it is early days.”

Since then, though, both Gemma and the rapper have spoken out to deny the rumours, insisting they don’t even know each other. “I have never met or spoken to him and we don’t follow each other on social media,” Gemma told MailOnline. “I am not dating and I am definitely single.
“Just after Christmas, I had much-needed time with my family and friends and I am working on myself. I am not going to date anytime soon and I’m not looking.”
Bugzy, meanwhile, took to TikTok to shut down the claims, sharing a series of selfies with the caption, “Michael Owen your daughter looks lovely rkid, but 19 just isn’t my cup of tea or coffee. Someone go tell @thesun to BEHAVE!”
