Love Island star Laura Anderson has opened up about her recent split from Dane Bowers.
The reality star, who competed on the 2018 series of the show, is currently appearing on Celebs Go Dating, where she spoke about the four-year on-off romance.
“I’m quite fresh out of a relationship, to be honest, which I thought was my life partner,” she told hosts Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson. “We were planning a lot together and it didn’t work out. I’m not really sure where I’m going wrong.”

She then tearfully told the cameras: “I think my most recent break-up was the biggest in my life because it was so serious. I thought that he was ‘the one’. We were trying for a baby. It’s just like a massive thing.”
However, Laura told the hosts that she was “ready to move forward” with her life and find a new partner.
Announcing their breakup in August, Laura said on Instagram: “Just to let all my beautiful support on here know that unfortunately Dane and I have decided to separate.

“Thank you all for your continued support. Sadly we’re just not right for each other but I do wish him nothing but love.”
Dane previously revealed that he and Laura were planning “marriage and babies”, saying last year: “I probably should have grown up before now, being in my 40s. There’s been a shift in deciding to live with each other. We’re talking about marriage and babies and we’d like to do that soon. This is it. This is proper. This is The One.”
Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox. Celebs Go Dating airs on E4.
