Does I’m a Celebrity star Owen Warner have a girlfriend?

Owen Warner has been confirmed as part of the star-studded for the 22nd series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as it returns to the Australian jungle for the first time in two years.

The Hollyoaks star, 23, has already jetted Down Under and is preparing to make his grand entrance in the iconic camp for Sunday’s premiere, after the ITV show was forced to relocate for Wales for two years amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hosted once again by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Owen will join 11 other unsuspecting stars live in the outback for three weeks of creepy crawlies, gruelling conditions and Bushtucker Trials.

And Owen has not shied away from admitting that he is ‘looking for love’ when he enters the Australian jungle, where he will be joined by co-stars Olivia Attwood and Scarlette Douglas, among others.

‘My mum is the one who is going to be the one missing me. I am single and ready for the jungle,’ he told The Mirror.

‘I am always looking for romance but I am not going in especially for that. I will miss football and family most.’ 

As Owen shares his hopes of finding a partner on the popular reality TV show, MailOnline takes a look back at his dating history.

STEPHANIE DAVIS

Owen, who played Romeo Nightingale on Hollyoaks, dated his co-star Stephanie Davis, 29, for nine months before they parted ways back in September 2019.

The pair first started dating in December 2018, shortly after Stephanie returned to the long-running Channel 4 soap following a three-year absence.

Owen then moved in with Stephanie and her son Caben – who she shares with former partner Jeremy McConnell – after one month of dating. 

They sparked romance rumours just months later as Stephanie commented on one of his posts: ‘I can’t WAIT to be your wife. I love you,’ but they then parted ways after nine months together.

Speaking of their split, a source told The Sun at the time that they had gone their separate ways after trying to ‘work through their differences’.

The source said: ‘Stephanie and Owen have decided to split after weeks of trying to work through their differences. They decided to end it today and Steph is insisting there’s no going back.

‘She couldn’t be more devastated as she saw a real future with Owen, particularly as he’s been a father figure to Caben. 

‘Steph is absolutely heartbroken and devastated it’s over – she wanted to be with Owen forever and now all of a sudden she’s mourning the loss of him in her and Caben’s lives.’

The split came after rumours that Owen was finding the relationship was moving very quickly and he found it ‘difficult’. 

An insider told the Mirror at the time: ‘It was all a bit too much for him. Stephanie has been very full on the last few months.

‘It was blatantly obvious she was moving the relationship forward at a rate of 100 miles an hour and him being the age he is found it very difficult to breath.’

CHLOE FERRY 

Owen also had a whirlwind romance with Chloe Ferry back in May 2021, where they went Instagram official with a steamy selfie while they were on holiday in Portugal. 

Chloe quickly revealed her new romance with Owen was going swimmingly as she spoke to MailOnline about their passionate union – even revealing she could see herself marrying the ‘Greek God’. 

She said: ‘So me and Owen have been meeting before. He’s absolutely lush – that body is to die for – I said he looks like a Greek God…

‘We’re not official but we’re just seeing how we go. It’s good. I know that he would be the perfect husband and he’s the sort of person I would marry. I’ve never felt passion like I do with him, I can’t believe it’.

On how he quells her insecurities, she went on: ‘Do you know what it is with him. He gets annoyed when I put myself down. He says what are you talking about? And I’m so insecure but you wouldn’t thinking it looking at me and that’s what I need…

‘I went for the wrong people before but now I’m working on myself. I’m buying my own house, it was the right person.’

But the romance was short-lived after The Sun reported that Owen was sliding into the Instagram DMs of OnlyFans model Apollonia Llewellyn, just days before he went public with Chloe. 

A source told the publication: ‘They met when she was an extra on Hollyoaks. Owen had his eye on Apollonia as soon as he saw her on the set of Hollyoaks and slid right into her DMs. 

‘He has been desperate to get her to go on a date with him and was trying to pin her down in late April and early May. They made plans a few times but the weather and work got in the way.

‘Chloe clearly has no idea what he was up to before going official with her and has been telling everyone how into him she is.’

The pair briefly reunited in September 2021 when they locked lips after leaving The Reign nightclub in London after the National Television Awards, but they did not rekindle their romance. 

LANA JENKINS

After his break-up with Stephanie, Owen found love with celebrity make-up artist Lana Jenkins after being introduced through mutual friends.

Lana, who works on CBBC’s So Awkward, is good friends with many of the Hollyoaks’ cast, and the pair shared a snap in June 2020 to confirm their romance. 

However, just months later, it was reported that the couple had sadly decided to part ways.

CAMILLA AINSWORTH 

Just weeks after his split from Lana, Owen then went on to date The Apprentice’s Camilla Ainsworth, going public with their romance at the start of 2021.

Owen met Camilla online and the pair were seen sharing flirty exchanges on social media and were later seen walking together on Camilla’s Instagram Stories.

Early on in their romance, a source told The Sun: ‘They’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks now after meeting online – it’s early days but they both seem head over heels.’ 

However, the romance was short-lived and the pair split after getting into rows in May 2021.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Owen and Camilla have quietly split and aren’t dating any longer. When they first met they got on like a house on fire and it seemed to be going really well.

‘But recently they had been arguing and decided that they should part ways. It was nothing dramatic and was very much mutual.

‘Owen and Camilla both wish each other well. It just didn’t work out.’
