Sean “Diddy” Combs welcomed a new member to his family this week.
On Saturday, the 53-year-old rapper shared the happy news of the birth of his daughter on Twitter, “I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world.” He did not reveal the baby’s mother’s identity, but he said, “Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!”
The music mogul is already the proud father to six children with three different women. His eldest son, 31-year-old Quincy Taylor Brown, he adopted when he was in a relationship with Quincy’s late mother, Kim Porter, who died of pneumonia in 2018 at the age of 47. Over the course of Combs and Porter’s on-again, off-again relationship, they would go on to have three more children together, 24-year-old Christian Combs, and 15-year-old twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James Combs. The Grammy winner is also father to 28-year-old Justin Dior Combs, whom he shares with stylist Misa Hilton-Brim, and 16-year-old Chance Combs whose mother is Diddy’s longtime associate Sarah Chapman.
For Thanksgiving, Combs spent the holiday with his three daughters working with The Caring Place at the Miami Rescue Mission to help feed roughly 3,000 people from Miami’s unhoused community. There, they were also joined by the musician’s girlfriend Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee.
In September, the City Girls rapper explained the nature of their open relationship to XXL, saying, “We are dating. We single, but we’re dating. People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single. I think it just went over people’s heads, you know? People just like to take whatever they wanna take from.”
In an interview with Vanity Fair in August 2021, Combs confessed that his daughters want him to find someone to settle down with full-time, but he feels like Porter was the true love of his life and the one that got away. He explained, “I had to start to deal with it when I lost Kim. ’Cause I was like, man, you had it. I’m not saying I would do any of it differently. God willing—I would have had more time.” He added, “I look at my life as I got a second chance. I’m on my second mountain.”
Part of Diddy’s new lease on life also appears to involve extending his business empire into Silicon Valley, as it was revealed last month that he is one of the investors who helped Elon Musk make that $44 billion purchase of Twitter. According to TMZ , the Sean John designer invested more than $10 million in the social media takeover to have a seat at the table.
Earlier this year, the two entrepreneurs went to a comedy show at the Hollywood Bowl and a listening party for Kanye West’s “Donda 2″ album in Miami.
