Recently, there are rumors that a romance is sparking between Gizelle Bryant and Cynthia Bailey‘s ex, Peter Thomas.
During BravoCon, Cynthia revealed that this doesn’t bother her at all.
“When that rumor came out, because Gizelle and I are very cool, she did call me [to tell me it wasn’t true],” Cynthia shared to People.
“I haven’t been with Peter in years, and it would be okay with me if she wanted to date him,” she spilled.
She even shared that she’d like to hang out with the potential new couple.
“Here’s the thing, I’m a Pisces — when I’m in, I’m in, when I’m out, [I’m out],” she said. “Peter and I are cool, we’ve always had a very respectful, cordial relationship.”
But it might be a false alarm, since Gizelle has yet to confirm the rumors.
“I’ve known Peter for years,” Gizelle told E! Online after Peter appeared on RHOP. “Peter comes around the group. I didn’t bring him around the group, someone else did.”
She made it clear: “Peter and I have never dated, will not date. I think he’s a great guy, but not for me.”
But apparently, Cynthia has her back if she changes her mind.
Cynthia seems to be equally amicable in her split from Mike.
“I love Mike. I’ll always love Mike. We’re friends. I’ll miss what we had,” she said. “But I’m really excited that this wasn’t like [an] ugly, horrible divorce where we couldn’t be friends. It was really important to me to not lose my friend. He’s my best friend.”
She revealed that a big reason for their split was that they both had a lot of things going on in their life, and in their careers.
“In the beginning, it was the distance. And then, it was me going into my next chapter, transitioning into a different career. You know, he’s transitioning into different careers with job situations,” she admitted.
The 55-year-old continued on to say, “So we both had a lot going on, and honestly, when I left Housewives I moved to a different city, a different house, and a different career I had to focus on.”
The RHOA told the outlet that she is hopeful of finding love again. However, she joked saying she was in “full-on menopause” at the moment.
In another interview with People, Cynthia said she is open to meeting new people, but she’s probably done getting married.
“If some great guy comes along, then I’m not closed to meeting guys,” she told the outlet at Bravo Con. “I’m not ready to start dating, dating. I would say I need a pause with the dating for a second.”
The reality star added that she’s not ready to bring any new relationships into the spotlight.
“I would say I need a pause with the dating for a second because I’m really still processing a lot of everything,” she continued. “Privately is one thing, publicly, it’s new. So for me, I’m just enjoying moving forward and whatever that looks like in my career, in my personal life. But obviously, if I meet some amazing guy, am I available for a coffee? Absolutely.”
