If you’ve tried Tinder, Bumble and Hinge and still haven’t found love — Cultura Beer Garden might have a solution to your dating woes.
The downtown bar and food truck park has a live dating game show in the works and is searching for Laredo singles looking for love.
Auditions will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. in the bar’s downstairs lounge, with all singles invited to apply.
Once the lucky singles are cast, they’ll advance to the actual game show, which is scheduled to take place the following Wednesday, Feb. 8 in Cultura Beer Garden’s upstairs lounge at 8:30 p.m.
While the full details for the show are yet to be revealed, all indications are the show will closely resemble iconic TV game show “The Dating Game,” which was initially popular in 70s, but revived again and again in the 80s and the 90s.
In the “The Dating Game,” a bachelor or a bachelorette questions three prospective singles who are hidden from their view. The bachelor/bachelorette then uses the answers to chose a partner, with the pair given an all-expenses paid date together.
The Cultura Beer Garden Blind-Date game show has a similar prize, with the winning couple winning a free dinner to the lucky winning couples.
