Celebs Go Dating expert Anna Williamson has revealed she feels “really proud” of the diverse cast featured in season 11.
The E4 celebrity dating show is currently back on screens with a wide range of famous faces sitting down with the agency for some well-needed relationship advice.
This season’s line-up includes Love Island stars Liam Reardon and Laura Anderson, TOWIE’s Pete Wicks, Geordie Shore‘s Bethan Kershaw, Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy, The Apprentice‘s Navid Sole, singer Sinitta, and Tinder Swindler victim Cecilie Fjellhøy.
Opening up exclusively to Digital Spy, Williamson reflected on the diverse mix of celebrities looking for love in season 11.

“The one thing I’m probably most proud of, actually, is that we cast the show as diverse as it should be really and it’s reflective,” she explained. “We want it to be reflective of the dating scene across the board.
“Just because you’re older and divorced maybe, or you have children or whatever, it doesn’t mean that you don’t deserve love or want to have a fulfilling relationship. The same if you’re younger and you want to get married.
“[The show] should be representative of the different sexualities, sexual preferences, gender and also the reasons of why you want dating advice.
“Not everybody comes into the show and the process wanting to get married and have children. You know, some just want to be better at communicating. They want to love themselves more.”

Further praising the show, Williamson insisted the variety within the cast is “the beauty of Celebs Go Dating“.
“We love to cast our celebrities to represent as many different demographics as we possibly can,” she revealed. “I think we’ve really nailed it with this series because you have many different challenges from all of our celebrities, that are really representative of who they are, and the lives that they live and that they’ve grown up in.
“I think everybody can really educate themselves, but also identify with every single one of our celebrities in one way or the other.”
“I’m really proud of the way we cast it,” Williamson added, insisting all viewers can find someone they relate to in the season 11 line-up.
